Overview
Our company offers a wide variety of light-weighted high performance ground penetrating radar
antennas. These antennas operate currently in all continents of the planet providing the best
data quality and price to performance ratio available on the market.
GCB Antennas
The GCB series of shielded ground coupled antennas are the main working horse of many consulting
companies at a daily basis. These antennas provide an outstanding signal to noise ratio, an
excellent form and weight factor and finally but not the least a penetration depth not
achievable with similar products from other manufacturers. The series extend from center
frequencies from 100MHz and up to 2500MHz to cover most of the ground penetrating radar applications.
Air launched antennas
Air launched antennas have been traditionally the tool of choice when it comes to road and railroad
inspection For this specific tasks, we can offer to our customers two high class horn antennas with respective center
frequencies of 1GHz and 2GHz. The penetration depth of these antennas surpasses that of many other manufacturers while
maintaining an excellent resolution and signal to noise ratio.
Borehole antennas
With no false modesty we can confirm that we provide the best signal and data quality there is to
find when it comes to borehole antennas. At the same time the
dimensions are kept as low as possible, allowing the use of these antennas in their main field of
application like mining, where free space and the size of the borehole might be constricted.
The borehole antennas come in three different center frequencies: 100, 500 and 1000GHz to
provide a full support for all applications demanding the use of borehole antennas for
ground penetrating radar.
Multi-Frequency antenna
The line of ground penetrating radar antennas would not be complete without our range for the lower
part of the spectrum the MFC1250 multi-frequency antenna.
Overview
Ground Coupled Bowtied Antennas
GCB-100
The ground coupled bowtied antenna GCB-100 is a shielded small form factor ground penetrating antenna for geotechnical and environmental applications when deep penetration is necessary. The antenna is fully shielded and the front to back ratio is very high making it an ideal choice for noisy environments. This antenna is fully compatible with all Geoscanners ground penetrating systems as well as with all SIR® control units from GSSI. The antenna is delivered with a sled for towing it while doing the survey in the field. The fastening points allow to use this antenna with all the Geoscanners accessories without any further modifications.GCB-200
The ground coupled bowtied antenna GCB-200 is a light weighted, small size ground penetrating antenna for geotechnical and environmental applications. The antenna is fully shielded and the front to back ratio is very high making it an ideal choice for noisy environments. This antenna is fully compatible with all Geoscanners ground penetrating systems as well as with all SIR® control units from GSSI. The fastening points are standard for all Geoscanners products making it possible to use the same accessories in several antennas providing a great deal of integration in larger systems.GCB-300
This antenna is the compromise between the high resolution of the GCB-400 and the deep penetration of the GCB-200. It will give the best of both worlds with small sacrifices to it. This is the perfect choice for companies that don't have the opportunity to make a big initial investment, but still have a wide variety of jobs to do. In many cases this antenna will suffice for all your applications in utility detection surveys. As with all other antennas manufactured by Geoscanners AB this antenna is fully compatible with all GSSI control units.GCB-400
The ground coupled bowtie antenna GCB-400 is a light weighted, small size ground penetrating antenna for utility detection and shallow investigations surveys. The antenna is fully shielded and the very high front to back ratio makes it a very robust choice for noisy urban environments. This antenna is fully compatible with all Geoscanners ground penetrating radar systems as well as with all SIR® control units from GSSI. The fastening points are standard for all Geoscanners products allowing for a great deal of integration into existing systems or to create ones from the ground up.GCB-500
The ground coupled bowtie antenna GCB-500 is a light weighted, small size ground penetrating antenna for utility detection and shallow investigations surveys. The antenna is fully shielded and the very high front to back ratio makes it a very robust choice for noisy urban environments. This antenna is fully compatible with all Geoscanners ground penetrating radar systems as well as with all SIR® control units from GSSI. This antenna is the compromise between the high resolution of the GCB-1000 and the deeper penetration of the GCB-500. It will give the best of both worlds with small sacrifices to it. This makes it a perfect chiose for companies that don´t have the opportunity to make a big initial investment, but still have a wide variety of jobs to do. As with all other antennas manufactures bu Geoscanners AB this antenna is fully compatible with all GSSI control units.
GCB-1000
This antenna is the first antenna in the series of Geoscanners AB microwaves frequency antennas. The purpose of this antenna is to be able to define small structures in concrete at shallow depths without compromising the penetration of it. It is possible to do rebars mapping, central heating pipes mapping, ice thickness in winter roads, as well as asphalt thickness measurements in surveys where the antenna can be in contact with the road. Usually a better penetration is achieved than the one with horn antennas.Overview
Air launched antennas
HA1000 Horn Antenna
Horn antennas are used in many applications, from pavement thickness and road condition assessment to high speed tunnel surveys. The main property of these antennas is that they are very focused and have low ringing in the upper part of the range where it matters for the intended applications. Our HA1000 has been extensively used for road surveys and recently also for assessment of primary and secondary lining in tunnels.HA2000 Horn Antenna
The HA2000 GPR horn antenna has all the properties of the HA1000, but the center frequency is doubled. This means that thinner layers of asphalt in road investigations can be isolated easily. This antenna is equipped with very sensitive electronics and the weak signal is further amplified with a very low noise amplifier to obtain access to even the faintest of the reflections.FLB-390

Borehole antennas
BA100 Borehole Antenna
The BA100 is a GPR borehole antenna for applications requiring viewing of the features in the ground via a nearby borehole. This antenna is one of the few models available on the market for GSSI ground penetrating radars as well. The cleaner signal and higher penetration than any of the competitor products, makes it an ideal complement for companies surveying marble quarries, salt mines or any other application requiring borehole antennas with lower frequency operating bandwidth and high ranges.BA500 Borehole Antenna
The BA500 is a GPR borehole antenna for applications requiring viewing of the features in the ground via a nearby borehole. This antenna is one of the few models available on the market for GSSI ground penetrating radars as well. The cleaner signal and higher penetration than any of the competitor products, makes it an ideal complement for companies surveying marble quarries, salt mines or any other application requiring borehole antennas with mid frequency operating bandwidth which results with moderate penetration and greater resolution.BA1000 Borehole Antenna

MFC1250 unshielded
This multifrequency unshielded antenna has been designed to work together
with our line of electronics plugins. It will provide with the deep layer
surveyor with a tool not only capable to work in a wide variety of
configurations, but also to exchange the center frequency within the
four options provided.
As with any other unshielded antenna, the power radiated into the ground in quite significant. Because of its modular construction the antenna can be transported in relatively small transport cases.
The possible attainable center frequencies are 12, 25, 50 and 100MHz.
